LEGAL DOCUMENT OF IDENTIFICATION

Be informed on necessary documents for your travel. They are legal identification documents, when original and valid, the followings documents:

PASSENGER WITHOUT LEGAL IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT

In case of theft, heist, loss or renewal of identification document, you must present while in dispatch for the flight, proof of communication of the event or a request of renewal done by the correct authorities.

In case of no presentation of identification document or not complying with none of the above, dispatch will not be granted on any flight.

MINOR PASSENGERS (-18)

On domestic flights, identification of the minor passenger is enough, upon presentation of any documents mentioned on the list above.

On international flights, when a minor passenger (-18) is traveling, passport presentation is required.

However, should it be a non-emancipated minor (-18), these additional requirements should be followed:

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTERING THE COUNTRY OF DESTINATION

For international flights, you must present a passport or any other travel document required by the entity responsible for the emigration and border control. Know the conditions, the documents and authorizations that are needed to enter the country of destination, so that you may travel without preoccupation.

When the State of Cape Verde has free movement agreements with other States, at the time of embarkation, make sure to present the passport or other legal document of identification dispatched by the respective country, when traveling within the space covered by the free movement.

Always have your international vaccination card updated. Before you travel, consult the information and recommendations on health issues in the country of destination. To achieve the necessary protection, you may have to be vaccinated in advance.
