AVOID PROBLEMS WITH YOUR BAGGAGE

It is important that you attach a label that identifies your baggage (with your name, contacts and address), both on the exterior and the interior of each baggage volume you intend to dispatch.

Keep an eye on your baggage at all times, specially your hand baggage, having it close to you all the time. In case you detect or see an abandoned baggage, advise the airport security force immediately.

On the check-in counter:

• Verify that you have withdrawn all labels referring to prior flights, minimizing the risk of loss of baggage;
• Confirm that you have received a registration label for every one of your baggage and verify that it is in your names;
• When traveling in group, make sure your luggage is dispatched with your name;
• Respect the baggage franchise granted by the air carrier for hold transportation and cabin transportation as well (taking in account size consideration) as the airline company can refuse transportation or charge additional values on the baggage if you do not comply with the previously agreed conditions;
• As you travel, choose flights that minimize problems with baggage such as:
  • Direct flights, no stopovers;
  • Flights with stopover, but with the same air carrier, having or not airplane changes.

As a precaution, include toiletries and a change of clothes in your hand baggage to prevent any eventualities

Pay attention to the indication given at the check-in counter and in the boarding pass as well, related to the time scheduled for your appearance at the departure lounge.

Access to the departure lounge is restricted only to passenger with a valid boarding pass, issued by the airline company and valid identification documents.
